Personal data and its usage

 

1. The administrator of personal data collected via the ECS Museum Store internet store is WPG S.A. with headquarters in Poland, Warsaw (02-784), at ul. Janowskiego 11, e-mail: ecs@museumstore.pl, registered by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000419733, share capital: 200,000 PLN, Regon number 141752080, NIP: 9512281596 (hereinafter: "Administrator").

2. Customers' personal data are processed with respect to the rules provided in GDPR, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data; repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (general data protection regulation, hereinafter "GDPR") and according to the Personal Data Protection Act from 29 August 1997 (Dz. U. z 2002 r., Nr 101, poz. 926 – unified act with later changes) the Shop guarantees that the collected personal data will only be utilized for the correct and efficient accomplishment of the services of the persons or legal entities to whom these data apply.

3. Only well trained and competent employees have the access to the personal data collected by Shop and the Administrator applies appropriate measures ensuring the protection of the processed data. The data is protected against unauthorized access and against processing in violation of applicable law.

4. The ECS Museum Store makes every effort to protect all the provided data from unauthorized access and make them secure in the best possible way. The data owned by the Company are safe and only passed on to the companies involved in the realization of the order (e.g. courier companies). Customers' personal data will not be sold or transferred to third parties for other purposes.

5. Providing data collected by the ECS Museum Store internet store is voluntary.

6. The basis for the Administrator's processing of the Customer's e-mail address in order to send the Customer to the indicated e-mail address of commercial information, including newsletters of the ECS Museum Store Internet store, is Art. 6 par. 1 ltr. a GDPR, i.e. explicit consent of the Customer, provided by relevant functional windows located on the Store's website.

7. The basis for processing by the Administrator of personal data collected during the Customer's purchase of goods in the ECS Museum Store Internet Store, including the submission of orders by the Customer, is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. b GDPR, i.e. taking actions necessary to conclude an Agreement (eg placing an Order) and the need to perform the Agreement by the ECS Museum Store Internet Store for a given Client. In addition, the possibility of such processing of personal data is confirmed by the acceptance of the content of the Regulations and the Privacy Policy.

8. The data processed according to the submission of Orders and conclusion of Agreements will be stored during the period of limitation of claims under sale contracts. Due to the need to fulfill tax and accounting obligations, part of this personal data will be kept for a period of 6 years from the date of execution of individual Agreements. Data processed for the purpose of sending commercial information (to an e-mail address or telephone number) will be processed until the relevant approvals are withdrawn. The information necessary to handle the complaint will be processed until the entitlements expire.

9. At any time, the customer has access to and the ability to edit their data in our system. Modifications can be made independently after logging in to the "Your account" panel on the Store's website, or by sending an e-mail with information about changes that should be made. The customer may also request the removal of their personal data from our system. For this purpose, you should also send us an e-mail with relevant information. All such matters should be reported to the shop address: ecs@museumstore.pl.

10. Personal data is collected by the Administrator to place orders, conclude and execute the contract, settle sales, possible complaints, contact related to orders placed or contracts concluded and to send information in the form of Newsletter to the email address provided in accordance with separate consent and acceptance of the Regulations available at http://sklep.ecs.gda.pl

11. The data collected during the purchase transaction will be used in order to realize the transaction. The User’s data can be passed on to the company supporting card transactions in order to charge the credit card. This company will not use this data for any other purposes. Sharing these data with the Shop is mandatory to make the purchase.

12. The data collected automatically can be used on our website for the users' behavior analysis, cumulating User's demographic data or personalizing the contents of our web pages. Every User's data are collected automatically.

13. Newsletter is an electronic newspaper produced by the Shop that includes – inter alia – information about the offer, the contests, the shop-related events etc. The User can voluntarily subscribe to the list thereby agreeing to receive certain alerts. The Shop does not resell or share any email address with the third party. The User’s email address is under the same protection as the rest personal data. The User has the right to resign the newsletter subscription at any time – this process can be done by clicking a link from the email message.

14. In case of control of General Inspectorate for Personal Data Protection, the User's data can be shared with the Inspectorate employees, according to the Personal Data Protection Act.

15. In case of infringing the Terms and Conditions of our service, the rules of law or when the rules of law require it, the User's Data can be shared with the Judicial Authority.

16. For his own safety the User should remember to log out after the session. To do so he needs to click the link “LOG OUT”. Switching of the browser is not equal to finishing the whole operation.

 

Using the Cookies

 

Every User’s browser can collect text files called “the cookies”. The informations kept in the files are essential for proper Internet services functioning, especially those that require authorization. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that is connected with the User’s browser. Thanks to the cookies, the Shop can gather the statistics of the User’s session what allows to adjust the offer to the User’s needs. The data collected by the Shop are completely anonymous and do not allow for identification of the specific User.

Our website can use the cookies that allow the identification of the User’s browser when using our website, creating visit statistics and keeping the session. The cookies do not include any personal data.

By changing the browser’s configuration, the User has a possibility to enable the cookies or automatically expunge the cookies after the visit to the Shop. In the majority of the browsers, the information about controlling the cookies can be found in its “Help” menus. In the menus can also be found the information about deleting them or tips about future blocking the cookies from being saved on the User’s computer.

Deleting or blocking the cookies is not recommend as it can hinder the shopping process or, in some cases, make it completely impossible.

 

Privacy Policy Changes

The Shop reserves the right to change the above Privacy Policy by publishing on the website the new Privacy Policy.
